IALT: Draft my argument using the correct structure and the use the information I have gathered.

Title yes we should have camp!

Although not everybody would agree, I want to say that… we should have camp.

I have several reasons for arguing this point of view. Firstly…. we learn new skills about the outdoors which we may need when camping, lost in a forest, and lost in the bush. These skills are how to make tents, fires, bridges when needing to cross a river. I know this because I have been on camp.

A further reason is/ secondly… we need to take risks because otherwise we are not real humans, and if we take risks our life will be more exciting and more fun. I know this because we have heard this from an outdoor educator. Rory McCullum said “ Taking risks is one of the best things you can do.”

Furthermore/ Thirdly...Some teachers are happy to organise camp and activities on camp. When they go on camp they are glad they planned it because it is a lot of fun. Mrs burns said.”It is fine organising camp because it is nice watching the children having fun on camp.”

Finally…Some camps are cheaper than others such as St Columba's is $16 for two nights and self catering and also we can plan our own activities.

I think that I have shown/ I believe that we should have school camp.
